  • pre-employment training for all internationally trained workers in the program covering topics such as organizational awareness, customer orientation and personal effectiveness to support their success and progression within the Manitoba ICT business context
  • innovative learning tools that will enable ITWs to address gaps in their skills before and during employment to help them become productive quickly
  • earning opportunities for you and your organisation that will develop your capabilities in successfully integrating and supporting internationally trained workers

How Work IT can help you:

  • Work IT does the work of initial eligibility assessment for you; for example, all internationally trained workers in the program will have had their eligibility for employment in Canada confirmed prior to program registration
  • you can make informed choices when interviewing and hiring; prior to interviewing any of the matched ITWs put forward for your consideration you will know what their skills gaps are in relation to your unique job profile and will be aware of what training and support is required to address these
  • you stay in control of the hiring process using your company’s usual criteria and procedures, you are not compelled to interview or hire based on the matches identified by ICTAM
  • your organisation has the opportunity to benefit from gaining new skills and experience in this growing area of recruitment, giving you a competitive edge.
  • you won’t be on your own; Work IT will support you through ongoing, regular contact that will enable you, newly hired ITWs and their mentors to review, plan and progress
